The TP-Link Archer BE230 is a BE3600 dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router designed for high-speed home networking, streaming, gaming, and multi-device environments. It supports IEEE 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 technology with total wireless speeds up to 3.6 Gbps across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
Advanced Wi-Fi 7 features such as Multi-Link Operation, Multi-RUs, 4K-QAM, and MU-MIMO help improve throughput, reduce latency, and support more efficient wireless connections. Four external antennas with beamforming technology help strengthen coverage throughout the home.
For wired networking, the Archer BE230 includes one 2.5 Gbps WAN port, one 2.5 Gbps LAN port, additional Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, and a USB 3.0 port for sharing storage across the network. It also supports VPN client and server functionality for flexible secure connections.
EasyMesh compatibility allows the router to work with supported routers and range extenders to create a whole-home mesh network. TP-Link HomeShield, WPA3 security, SPI firewall protection, Alexa and Google Assistant support, and management through the TP-Link Tether app add convenience and network control.
