Description
The Eaton Tripp Lite series AVR550U is a compact 550VA / 300W line-interactive UPS designed for desktop computers, network workstations, routers, media equipment, gaming systems, and other home or office electronics. It provides battery backup, surge protection, and voltage regulation to help protect connected devices during blackouts, brownouts, and other power disturbances.
The UPS includes eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, with four providing battery backup plus surge protection and four providing surge-only protection. Two outlets are spaced to accommodate larger transformer plugs. Runtime is approximately 9 minutes at half load and 2 minutes at full load, helping provide time to save work and safely shut down equipment.
Automatic Voltage Regulation helps maintain usable output across an input range of 83V to 147V without unnecessary battery use. The AVR550U also includes 316-joule surge suppression, EMI/RFI noise filtering, and RJ-11 telephone/DSL protection for connected communication equipment.
A HID-compliant USB port supports UPS monitoring and automatic shutdown through compatible PowerAlert software and operating-system power management features. Additional features include cold-start capability, replaceable battery, status LEDs, audible alarms, and flexible desktop, tower, or wall-mount installation. The AVR550U is RoHS compliant and backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
