Description
The Eaton Tripp Lite series OMNIVSX1500 is a 1500VA / 900W line-interactive tower UPS designed for computers, routers, digital signage, home theater systems, security equipment, ATMs, and other 230V electronics. It provides battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltage conditions, surges, and line noise.
All eight IEC C13 outlets provide both battery backup and surge protection for connected equipment. The UPS delivers approximately 6.5 minutes of runtime at half load and 1 minute at full load, helping provide enough time to save work and safely shut down equipment during extended outages. Its internal batteries are replaceable and typically recharge in about eight hours.
Automatic Voltage Regulation helps correct input conditions from 170V to 280V back toward nominal 230V operation without immediately switching to battery power. The OMNIVSX1500 also includes 312-joule surge suppression and EMI/RFI filtering to help protect sensitive electronics from electrical disturbances and line noise.
A front LCD touchscreen displays input voltage, output voltage, load percentage, battery charge, and fault information. The HID-compliant USB port supports monitoring and unattended shutdown through compatible PowerAlert software on Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. The compact tower design is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
