Description
The Eaton Tripp Lite series SMX1500LCDT is a 1500VA / 900W line-interactive UPS designed for home and office workstations, media centers, and entertainment systems. It provides battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, surges, and line noise, helping connected equipment stay operational long enough for safe shutdown.
The UPS features eight IEC 60320 C13 outlets, including outlets for battery backup as well as two surge-only connections for less critical devices. Its internal battery provides approximately 10 minutes of runtime at half load, while the typical recharge time is around eight hours.
Automatic Voltage Regulation maintains a stable 230V output across an input range of 170V to 280V without switching to battery power. The unit also includes 455-joule surge suppression, EMI/RFI filtering, and RJ-11/RJ-45 dataline protection to help protect connected equipment and communications lines.
A front-panel LCD displays key operating information such as voltage, battery status, and load level. USB and serial ports support monitoring and unattended shutdown through compatible PowerAlert software. The SMX1500LCDT uses a compact tower design, is RoHS compliant, and is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
