Description
The Eaton Tripp Lite series AVR900U is a 900VA / 480W line-interactive UPS designed for desktop PCs, workstations, and other office electronics. Its compact form factor provides battery backup, surge protection, and voltage regulation while fitting easily on a desk, beside equipment, or in a wall-mounted installation.
The UPS includes twelve NEMA 5-15R outlets, with six providing battery backup plus surge protection and six providing surge-only protection. It delivers approximately 10 minutes of runtime at half load and 2.7 minutes at full load, helping connected equipment remain operational long enough for safe shutdown during outages.
Automatic Voltage Regulation maintains usable output across an input range of 83V to 147V without unnecessary battery use. The AVR900U also includes 316-joule surge protection, EMI/RFI noise filtering, and single-line RJ-11 telephone/DSL protection to help safeguard both power and communication connections.
A USB HID-compliant port supports UPS monitoring and unattended shutdown using PowerAlert software. Front status LEDs and audible alarms provide information for power, low battery, overload, fault, and battery replacement conditions. The replaceable lead-acid battery, compact housing, and flexible desktop/tower/wall-mount design make it suitable for a wide range of workstation environments.
