The Eaton Tripp Lite series SmartPro SMART1500LCD is a 1500VA / 900W line-interactive UPS designed for small business networks, VoIP systems, point-of-sale equipment, desktop workstations, security systems, digital signage, and home office applications. It provides battery backup and power protection against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges, and line noise.
Automatic Voltage Regulation helps correct low and high input voltage without switching to battery power, keeping connected equipment running while preserving battery capacity for actual outages. The unit supports brownout correction down to 75V and overvoltage correction up to 147V, while delivering nominal 120V output.
The SMART1500LCD includes eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, 480-joule surge protection, and PWM sine wave output. It provides up to 13 minutes of runtime at half load and approximately 3.5 minutes at full load, with a typical battery recharge time of about eight hours. USB and RS-232 serial connectivity support monitoring and unattended shutdown with compatible PowerAlert software.
Its 2U rack/tower design provides flexible installation in standard 19-inch racks or upright tower configurations. The rotating front LCD displays voltage, load, battery capacity, runtime, and operating status, while audible alerts indicate power loss or low battery conditions. The UPS also includes RJ-45 dataline protection and is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
