The Eaton Tripp Lite series INTERNET550U is a compact 550VA / 300W standby UPS designed to help protect computers, routers, storage devices, media equipment, and other home or office electronics during power disturbances. It provides battery backup during outages and additional protection against brownouts, surges, line noise, and overvoltage conditions.
The UPS provides both battery-backed and surge-only NEMA 5-15R connections, allowing critical devices to remain powered during an outage while less essential accessories receive surge protection. Widely spaced receptacles help accommodate larger transformer-style plugs, while the 5-foot power cord provides convenient installation flexibility.
A HID-compliant USB connection supports compatible operating-system power management and automatic shutdown functions. RJ-11 and RJ-45 dataline protection helps protect connected communication equipment, while EMI/RFI filtering and 316-joule surge suppression provide additional protection against electrical disturbances.
The INTERNET550U features an ultra-compact design that can be used on a desktop, as a tower, or in a wall-mounted installation. Status indicators and audible alarms provide information about battery, overload, fault, and battery replacement conditions. The battery is replaceable, the unit is Energy Star certified and RoHS compliant, and the supplied specifications list a 3-year limited warranty.
